Kwisatz Haderach

My old friend Geoffrey handed me these records some years ago, although I don't quite remember the circumstances. I used to hang out with him a fair amount but some time has passed since our paths crossed.

I ran into Luci a few months ago and it was quite nice to catch up with her a bit after all these years. I used to have a big crush on her back in the day but nothing ever came of it. She is married to Josh Blair (of Orthrelm fame) now, if you are curious.

I haven't been listening to screamy hardcore like this so much lately so it was a bit jarring. Perhaps it is because I never really listened to these before and thus they are unfamiliar to my aging ears -- who knows. But once I got past that I quite enjoyed them. I guess a part of me will always be a hardcore kid.

There was obviously some serious nerdery going on here, as there are several Dune references as well as one to The Lord Of The Rings thrown in for good measure. I will let you figure out which is which, it isn't terribly complicated.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your listening pleasure, 3 sides of Kwisatz Haderach.

Kwisatz Haderach EP (Self)
1. Old Man Of The Desert
2. Nirnaeth Arnoediad (Tears Unnumbered)
3. Taqwa
4. Tahaddi-Al-Burhan

Kwisatz Haderach/Encyclopedia Of American Traitors (Self)
1. Litany Against Fear
2. Ya Ha Chouhada

I am stoked that someone from Robotic Empire thought we were mind blowing!

@doug: Johnson City, TN had the strongest psychic impact on me of any place we played on that tour.

Thanks for posting this.
