Grenadine

I am a huge sucker for just about anything Mark Robinson has been in. This is one of his lesser known projects (even though it also features Jenny Toomey), and I have to admit not exactly my favorite.

I decided to give these records another go, as it had been some years since I listened to them. They are totally fine -- not amazing, not terrible. Nonetheless, perhaps you are a fan of Unrest or Tsunami and now you too can listen to these records.

The name is pretty appropriate, however.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your listening pleasure, three singles by Grenadine.

Triology (Teenbeat/Simple Machines)
1. Gillan
2. Fillings

Don't Forget The Halo b/w 777 (Teenbeat/Simple Machines)
1. Don't Forget The Halo
2. 777

Christiansen (Teenbeat/Simple Machines)
1. The Barnacle
2. Snuck
3. Srew

Grenadine is one of my favorite bands ever. I have all these on vinyl but no record player. Hadn't heard them in years.

THANKS SO MUCH!
If you like Robinson do you have Olympic Death Squad? Pretty timely right now!

oh GOD thank you. I can't tell you how much I've missed my clear red vinyl copy. I've been wanting to listen to "Don't Forget the Halo" for about 10 years now. I've found "Goya" but nothing else, and unless I buy a turntable again I'd be SOL.
