I wasn't quite sure what this record was, except that it was manufactured and distributed by Rough Trade (which is generally enough for me). It turns out that she was somehow connected to the Wire people and they released this on their Dome label. If you enjoy that sort of thing you will probably like this.

A.C. Marias is the nom du disque of prominent video director Angela Conway, who was the significant other of Wire guitarist Bruce Gilbert. She went on to record three singles and a full-length for Mute.
