The Phones Sportsman Band

I had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Nikki Sudden on a few occasions. The first time was at Union Pool and I admitted to him that Phones B. Sportsman is my all time favorite punk rock name.

He told me the its origin but I was so drunk that I promptly forgot.

I saw this record once at the WFMU record fair for $50. I considered purchasing it but it was a little too rich for my blood at the time.

I am happy to say that I recently acquired it for considerably less than that.

This record is really silly and really awesome. Swell Maps really knew what time it was, etc.
