The Blank Students

A few more jams from this excellent compilation for you.

I know little to nothing about The Blank Students, but these songs are indeed enjoyable. You probably know what to expect already.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your listening pleasure, The Blank Students.

Hi BJ,

FYI. The Blank Students were from my hometown, Preston, Lancs, UK.

The lead singer was called MIles Sailsbury.

They were around in about '81-'83ish.

They were heavily into the Pop Group and that kinda punk/funk vibe.

Hi, Great blog!

I was in this band for a while, a bit after these recordings though. Mick is absolutely correct with his facts.
Miles Salisbury - Guitar, Vocals
Dog - Drums
Harts - Bass (although it might have been Clark for these recordings...)
Dom - Sax (Not on these two, though)
Horace - Vocals, Percussion (Not on these two, though).

The band lived and gigged around Preston, Lancashire, UK. I believe Miles still lives there.

We did a John Peel session in 1981, and I wish I still had a copy of it!
